During the last year of their studies at the Municipal Conservatory of Music of Barcelona (2013), Blai Mañer and Paula Sánchez start this duo receiving their first lessons from maestro Albert Argudo.That year, they win the Honor Prize at the Chamber Contest of the Conservatory and the Soloists Competition. Graduated with the highest marks from the Liceu Music Conservatory (2018), during their bachelor they continue as a duo with Prof. Amparo Lacruz, with who they will finish the Master's Degree in Chamber Music. During their studies they have been awarded with various scholarships by the Ferrer-Salat Foundation.
In 2014 they were invited, on behalf of Spain, to the "XII Rassegna Musicale Europea" in Montecatini Terme, Italy, where they offered a concert and were awarded in the final competition of the festival. In 2015, they played Beethoven's Triple concert, as soloists, at the Main Hall (Saló de Cent) of Barcelona City Council, accompanied by the CMMB Symphony Orchestra with Albert Argudo conducting. They have played in international halls and festivals such as the XXX Isaac Albéniz Music Festival (Camprodon), Palau Dalmases (Barcelona), Born Cultural Center (Barcelona), Lluc International Music Festival (Mallorca) ... They have received advice from great musicians such as Jan-Ype Note, Paul Katz, Trio Gryphon, Iagoba Fanlo, Lito Iglesias, Xavier Pardo, Andreu Riera, Daniel Cubero ...
